The Jiuquan Sodium Sulphate Plant uses four-stage evaporation technology and has a total output of 50,000 mtpa. It has ISO9002 certification and manufactures to China's export standard GB6009-92. Over 85% of output is exported, mainly to North America, Southeast Asia, Japan and Korea.
Yasheng Minerals Company:Raw materials for the Group's inorganic salt and fine chemicals production are assured by the wholly-owned Yasheng Minerals Company which has proven accessible mirabilite reserves of 30 million MT, the largest in Gansu. Current output is 200,000 mtpa of mirabilite and 50,000 mtpa of industrial salt.
Sodium Sulphide (Na2S) Production In cooperation with Hong Kong's Jinhaiwan Investment Ltd., we have established a modern 30,000 mtpa low-iron and low-carbon sodium sulphide plant, the largest in China. Iron content is below 30ppm and the plant has achieved both national product standards and ISO9002 certification. Major markets are north and northeast China, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia and North America.
Yanguoxia Chemical Company manufactures chlor-alkali and related chemicals at a medium-sized chemical complex with an adjacent hydro-electric power supply. Liquid chlorine output is 6,000 mtpa and liquid and solid caustic soda 30,000 mtpa, with one third currently being produced through advanced membrane technology. in concentrations of 30 & 42 %. Other main products are synthetic hydrochloric acid (28,000mtpa;) and concentrated hydrochloric acid.; PVC (10,000 mtpa); 100% DDVP oil (2,500 mtpa); and paraffin chloride (1,000 mtpa). By-products include phosphorus trichloride, trichloroethanal, dipterex, sodium hypochlorite and methyl chloride.
